Who are the Kid Kritics and Where do They Come From?
There are hundreds of Kid Kritics across the United States. They are a cross-cultural mix of 5 to
14-year-olds who have tasted our Family Food Experts Ingredients' Board approved foods and given an enthusiastic "thumbs up" to the Better Food
Choice foods that they think taste good.
The children are presented various foods and drinks at taste tests around the nation. But before
being served at the taste tests, all the foods and drinks have been carefully evaluated by medical and nutritional experts for quality nutrient
content. During the taste tests, the kids blindly taste and then rate the foods and drinks given to them to test. Only the ones receiving a
strong majority of high marks receive the Kid Kritics Approved seal. These foods and drinks are the real winners that you will want to
serve your kids.
The recipes are made up of only board approved components and the kids have fun tasting the food &
drinks and deciding which ones should receive the Kid Kritics Approved seal.
The Kid Kritics' votes of approval give credibility to the foods, drinks, and recipes they have taste-tested.
Look for the Kid Kritics Approved seal on both the Better Choices Grocery List and the Brands to Trust shopping list. An abbreviated version of both are also on this
website. The complete Better Choices Grocery List is in our Are Your Kids Running on Empty? book and CD Cookbook.
Your kids can become Kid
Kritics
Invite us to your community for a Kid Kritics Clinic where your children can volunteer to taste test foods and be inducted as an official Kid
Kritic. Simply click on Clinics/Seminars for more information.
